There's a wide choice of villas for rent in Moraira, set in the hills and valleys around the town - ranging from bungalows to large luxury properties with sought-after sea and mountain views. Many owners hire self-contained holiday apartments with use of their private pool, with all the benefits of a villa but at much lower cost. There also many apartments here, conveniently located for the shops and the beaches.

Set at the end of a valley leading down to a picturesque bay, the town has grown from a small fishing village to a pretty holiday resort with considerable charm. The town has a large well equipped marina and yacht club, with excellent moorings. There is a very popular open market every Friday morning and during the summer evenings street market stalls sell local arts and crafts. With many excellent shops, and several large supermarkets with a range of English foods, this is a flourishing shopping centre. With many bars and superb restaurants serving good Spanish food and international cuisine from all over the world, the area has a well deserved and outstanding reputation.
